Find every macro your business depends on, and make it safe to run.
Microsoft now blocks macros in files that come from the internet, and most businesses respond in one of two ways: everything stops working, or someone switches the protection off. Neither is acceptable when an auditor asks how you control the code in your spreadsheets.
There is a right way. We find the macros you rely on, rate the risk, sign the ones you trust, and set up your computers to run them, and only them.
What you get
- An inventory of every macro-enabled file in scope, who uses it, and what it does.
- A risk rating for each: what it can touch, where it comes from, how it's maintained.
- A signing plan: a code-signing certificate, and which files to sign.
- The settings: Trusted Publishers or Trusted Locations, deployed through Group Policy, so trusted macros run and everything else stays blocked.
- Documentation written to answer an auditor's questions.
Who it's for
- Finance, banking and insurance firms that must show control over the code in their spreadsheets.
- Any business whose macros stopped running when Microsoft tightened the rules.
- IT providers looking after small businesses. You meet broken and blocked macros all the time, and you probably don't want to maintain VBA. We're happy to be the people you send those to.
Price
$1,500 fixed for up to ten macro-enabled files, then $75 a file. Putting the plan in place (signing, deployment) is quoted separately. Afterwards, Workbook Care ($150 a month) keeps the files signed and the certificate current.
